The NSpine Spine Endoscopy Module is a specialised training program meticulously crafted to equip surgeons with profound skills in endoscopic spine surgery. This workshop focusses on spine endoscopy techniques of the lumbar spine.Program Highlights:
1-day Cadaveric or Model Training in Lumbar Techniques
1/2-day Live Tissue Advanced Endoscopic Training and Complications Management.
3 hour theory session.
The training is conducted by international expert faculty and the exact learning goals are discussed with the delegates.
Ratio 2:1 delegate to faculty.
Duration: 2 day hands-on training.
The expert session is designed for experienced surgeons or to enhance their endoscopic skills in 1:1 training with one of our expert faculty. The learning goals are decided between delegate and faculty and can include cadaveric, simulation or live tissue surgery and all current endoscopic techniques. This custom training opportunity allows for specific techniques to be taught in accordance with delegates requirements.
Duration: Half day
3 hour theory session.
Faculty – delegate ratio is 1:1
- Advanced Endoscopic Craniocervical Techniques:
This module focuses on advanced transnasal endoscopic techniques for the anterior resection of craniocervical structures. Specifically, access to the clivus, atlas and axis will be performed as well as step wise resection of above structures.
Duration: Half day
3 hour theory session.
Faculty – delegate ratio is 2:1
- Lateral (XLIF / X-ALIF) Reconstruction and Complications Management
This workshop focusses on minimally invasive lateral lumbar techniques. The cadaveric session provides access training for interbody and corpectomy access including lateral ALIF L5/S1. The live tissue session teaches lumbar vascular and ureteric complications management or pulmonary complications management (delegate choice).
Duration: One and a half days.
Faculty – delegate ratio is 1:2 with state of the art theatre equipment available for optimal surgical simulation.
- Comprehensive Anterior Cervical Spine Techniques
This workshop with highly experienced faculty provides state of the art training in anterior cervical exposure and reconstructive techniques.
½ day Cadaveric or Model training Anterior Cervical Spine
Faculty – delegate ratio is 1:2 with state of the art theatre equipment available for optimal surgical simulation.
- Comprehensive Posterior Cervical Spine Techniques
This workshop with highly experienced faculty provides state of the art training in posterior cervical exposure and reconstructive techniques.
½ day Cadaveric or Model training Posterior Cervical Spine
Faculty – delegate ratio is 1:2 with state of the art theatre equipment available for optimal surgical simulation.
- Advanced Anterior & Posterior Craniocervical Techniques
This workshop with highly experienced faculty provides state of the art training in craniocervical intrumentatioin techniques. Delegates can choose to spend more time with anterior or posterior techniques to suit individual training requirements. The specific content will be determined between delegates and faculty. The techniques available include anterior and posterior atlantoaxial instrumentation / anterior odontoid instrumentation / vertebral artery exposure / occipitocervical fixation / optional mandibular split and direct anterior atlantoaxial access / Foramen Magnum decompression.
½ day Cadaveric or Model training Posterior and Anterior Atlantoaxial Spine
Faculty – delegate ratio is 1:2 with state of the art theatre equipment available for optimal surgical simulation.
- Major Reconstruction Visceral, Pulmonary and Vascular Mobilisation and Repair
In this module, delegates are exposed to extensive anterior approaches covering the thoracic and lumbar spine with complications management typically encountered in major tumor reconstruction including major pulmonary, vascular and urological repair techniques.
1/2-day Live Tissue Training and Complications Management
The training is conducted by international expert faculty and the exact learning goals are discussed with the delegates.
Ratio 2:1 delegate to faculty.
Duration: 1/2 day hands-on training.
Please note, for a comprehensive experience, this module can be combined with the Advanced Spine Tumour Reconstructive Techniques ( Pelvis to Cervical) .
